Designing without images and illustrations.

This week we were given a task on Wejapa internship to design a restaurant landing page without using images, icons, or illustrations. The design has to contain only typography. The task sounded weird and looked so difficult to accomplish because I usually use icons and images in all my designs.

I searched for inspirations on Pinterest and Dribble, I got designs with images and icons on these sites so all I did was to redesign using just texts. I used the Roboto font for my design and Freckle Face font for the logo of the restaurant. My design looks weird but I’m glad I was able to design without using images and icons for the first time.
